We hope you didn’t find your social distancing too hard at the weekend and are all well. What a surreal reality we now find ourselves living and working in together.
At Magenta we are aware that this is a scary and somewhat overwhelming time. Like us, you’ve probably found yourself launching from being overwhelmed and emotional, to feeling inspired and positive from stories of good being done by friends, neighbours and online – a roller-coaster to be sure.
If the reports of the spread of the virus can be even half believed, we all face a massive challenge in the next month or so. The team at Magenta are determined that we will maintain our excellent client service and be here for all of you.
However, our team and their families safety is also paramount and therefore we took the decision yesterday (before the Pm’s announcement) to send our team home to work remotely until this is over. We will maintain a skeleton staff to check post in and out a few days a week and keep things running smoothly.
We will be available on the telephone as usual and video calls are priority for client meetings in the next month or so. We will also be asking for online agreements to all our recommendations as far as possible to reduce the risk to staff and you when using postal services.
