On 1st September it’ll be 5 years since we launched Magenta. I can’t believe it’s gone so quickly, and it only seems like yesterday that Julie and I were calling many of you to let you know about the change and our plans for our new brand.
In the last 5 years we’ve seen the business – with thanks to you, our clients and friends, and our staff – go from strength to strength.
• Our staff numbers have doubled in 5 years • We moved into our lovely office on Court Road • We manage 65% more money in investments than we did in year 1 • We have hired Allyson our business manager, so Gretchen can focus on client work and developing new planners in the business • We’ve won over 8 financial professional awards • We’ve been listed in the TOP 100 UK firms by New Model Adviser every year since launch • We are a member of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association and signed the Women In Finance Charter • Our staff have committed to attaining the highest qualifications possible, ensuring excellence for our service • Julie has retired and Jamie has joined us, our first male planner! • I have trained as a Certified Financial Coach • We’ve embraced a new hybrid working week – adapting to the challenges of remote working • We’ve managed through 18 months of Covid-19 altering all our lives – for our clients and staff and in and out of work.
I’m very excited about the next 5 years – who’s paths will cross ours, what opportunities and challenges lie ahead for the team and what fun is to be had!
I am so proud of the team who work tirelessly to provide the excellent service everyone is used to receiving as a Magenta client.
We hope that we may see some of you at our Magenta Antiques Roadshow event on 1 October at Miskin Manor – where we can raise a glass to another year in business – after many many months of not being able to host any event!
