The Charter reflects the government’s aspiration to see gender balance at all levels across financial services firms. A balanced workforce is good for business – it is good for customers, for profitability and workplace culture, and is increasingly attractive for investors.
This Charter is vitally important in our profession as it commits firms to supporting the progression of women into senior roles in the financial services sector.
As you know, Magenta’s team are all women (at present), but this is highly unusual in our profession. We are all keen to help support and encourage more young women to consider this wonderful career!
