It’s Good Money Week!
This is the week where those in our profession and the investment industry focus on money that’s good for people, the planet and your pocket. This is a national campaign to help grow and raise awareness of sustainable, responsible and ethical finance. The focus isn’t just for those who have thousands or hundreds of thousands to invest. No matter how much you have, the bank you chose, or the pension fund you invest in via work, can have an impact.
By choosing sustainable and ethical banks, pensions and investments its possible to make sure you aren’t giving money to companies that fund problems like child labour, modern slavery, low pay, pollution and the climate crisis.
Just like choosing to buy Organic, or support local fair trade, you can choose to use sustainable and ethical money options to ensure you are contributing to help make our world a ‘good’ one.
At Magenta we’ve been an advocate for ‘good’ investing for many years. Around 75% of all our new clients say they would like to play their part in helping to make the world a better place, however small their contribution.
We’ve recently written a new guide – Magenta’s Green Money Guide – which focuses on the different options, details about the UN sustainable goals, things you may need to consider and also some journaling questions around your thoughts, beliefs and values. You can download this guide HERE.
We’re also running an online webinar on this topic on the 24th November – providing information about the options, benefits, risks and practical steps of investing in this way. Email hello@magentafp.com if you are interested in registering early for this.
If you know someone who would be interested in this guide or webinar, please forward this email on to them, or ask them to visit our dedicated webpage about Positive Impact investment here.
