Here’s a glimpse into Gretchen’s monthly VLOG for May!

This month Gretchen has been in USA touring the Deep South.

Starting in Florida, visiting Gretchen’s namesake. Meeting friends made via Twitter and exploring their ‘tiny house’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KYfJby9ig4

Travelling West to New Orleans for the Jazz scene. Stayed at Bienville House French Quarter https://bienvillehouse.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjw4ayUBhA4EiwATWyBrqC5NHtAolsGl90GlkhOwMltFpdFxTD-ShI58a-VbGSav8JPlq1-9RoCkpsQAvD_BwE

Onto Memphis, exploring Graceland’s, Sun Studio, and wonderful live music on Beale Street.

Visiting Franklin on route to next destination, to learn more about the Battle of Franklin, part of the American Civil war, a humbling visit.

Then to Gretchen’s ‘must do’, Nashville in Tennessee, being a huge country music fan, a great place to immerse yourself in cowboy boots, hats and great music!

Attending the Grand Ole Opry, a treat for eyes and ears, such great sounds quality and still live on the radio nationally in the US every Friday night!

The final stop, Covington, Georgina, situated just outside of Atlanta for some relaxation before flying home!

Gretchen’s reflections on this trip to the Deep South

Feel blessed to live in a country where women’s rights are generally well respected, and women have choices.

If you have the opportunity to forge friendships with people from other countries – do it!

After a challenging few years for everyone, try to make this year the year that you do something new, and experience amazing things!
